You must have an appointment scheduled before coming to the office. TEFAP clients: If you do not already have your monthly appointment scheduled, you can call our office to do so.

We are in the office Wednesday- Friday between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
If you do not get through, please leave a message. We will return your call when we return to the office. 
Client Choice Emergency Food Pantry
  • Clients may shop once a month in our Healthy Client Choice Food Pantry.
  • Our pantry provides
    • Fresh produce
    • Fruits and vegetables. some home grown in local gardens
    • Frozen meat and other proteins
    • Canned vegetables & fruits
    • Bread & bakery items
    • Cereals
    • Refrigerator items and other staples
  • Personal care items, paper products and cleaning products are also provided when available
TEFAP - The Emergency Food Assistance Program 
​The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that helps supplement the diets of low-income Americans by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost. USDA provides 100% American-grown USDA Foods and administrative funds to states to operate TEFAP.
  • TEFAP is a once a month food distribution adding 6-9 additional items to RIR’s Client Choice Emergency Food Pantry
  • Qualifications for TEFAP are 200% of Federal Poverty Level
  • Everyone who qualifies for TEFAP will also receive food from our pantry
Senior Liquid Nutrition Program
A monthly Ensure program provided to seniors 60+ by Wayne County Senior Services, distributed by RIR.
Clothing Boutique
  • Everyone that comes to their food program appointment may shop in our Clothing Program each month
  • We have clothing for adults, children and infants - sizes as available
